The single-core processor is more than enough to run BB OS 7 without any slowdown or unnecessary lag. There is no real multi-tasking so having 768MB RAM is not a problem at all. However, only about 200MB were available even on the first boot up. Internal memory is lacking hugely at just 2.5GB available for use. There is a micro-sd card slot but I certainly feel that a 8GB card should have been provided for media usage. The front of the smartphone has four buttons which are typical of BlackBerry smartphones in recent years. The camera (5MP) takes some capable images but images were cold and a little blurry. Overall for taking pictures at the club with your friends the camera will do just fine. Furthermore, the inclusion of 720p takes decent footage. Battery life on the 9860 is quite average. I get about a day’s usage but just having 3g on drains battery quickly. Overall I enjoy using the Torch 9860 as it is speedy. I like the design and build quality. The operating system is not on par with iOS, Windows Phone or Android but is still worthy of day to day use. I strongly feel that this phone should have had a 8-megapixel camera to compete with the strong competition. “VAWT” “Wind Turbine” Feel “free” to use any of these “concepts” in your “windmill” designs. The wing or plate that swings on a vertical rod has been around forever and the rest are just “conceptual designs” that I came up with. An engineer proficient using AVIs stress analysis application could determine structural integrity issues using these drawings. Who knows; maybe someone will perfect this “design concept” and build them to the same height as the large HAWTs. I (think) “Vertical Axis Wind Turbines” have the leverage potential to produce more power at lower wind speeds. I am amazed by the large HAWTs and many of the modern VAWTs but I hope that engineers, innovators and last but not least, financial risk takers will continue to find ways to lower the required wind speed. This video is a remake on my previous match rocket video because I felt that it was not as good as it could be. This design is not that different from my previous design, the only difference is that I completely plugged up one end and made the hole on the other end a lot smaller, but with these improvments I would say that it is about 10 times more powerful. Warning: It dose produce a lot of smoke, so I highly suggest that you do it outside or in a well ventilated area.
